Looks&PB: Marlene is 5'8", with a slim figure, waist-length black hair, and green eyes. Her facial features are well-defined (is that a nice way to say she has a big nose? idk), and she comes off as elegant. She has this very feminine way of carrying herself that makes you think she must be such a girly-girl when you look at her.

Her PB is Yukari, from Paradise Kiss. [starchildorion made some of her icons, but I can't remember which ones! D= ]

Background: Noah was raised by his aunt in Einbroch from the age of six, after his parents died in a boating accident while on vacation. Growing up with his aunt and her two daughters left him without a male role model, and this has made him turn out, perhaps, a bit more feminine than he should be. At least, that's what they blamed it on.

He was a bookworm as a child, and showed a great deal of interest in magic. His aunt, who was fairly well-to-do because of her management job at the factory, offered to pay his tuition into the sage academy, which he graciously accepted. He began school there at the age of eighteen, and found it where he wished to be. Most of his time is spent studying or reading.

Most of his friends are female, as he finds them easier to get along with, and he seems nervous around other men. He hates the segregated setup of the dorms at the academy, and oftentimes feels out of place or very uncomfortable there.

He has recently come out as transgendered and presents himself as a woman in public.

NOAH TRANSCENDED! And the gods granted him the wish to become a woman, and thus he is no longer Noah at all and is officially Marlene. She remembers nothing of this previous life and spent a week locked in a room at the assassin guild while Sei Mallory tried to build her up as a person.

Since then, she and Sei became an item (he's a horrible boyfriend), she fought in the Arunafeltz/Midgardian war alongside him, and then retired from the conflict to go live in Geffen with inscarletsteps. She is a self-taught master lockpick and no common household lock is a match for her.


Personality: Marlene retains her explosive temper, being quick to anger and resulting in quick-burning tantrums that usually fade away into crying. This is just a part of her that isn't ever going to change! However, outside of the temper, she is a fairly amiable person, generally cheerful and friendly, if a bit shy with people she's first meeting.

She's thoughtful, always trying to find a deeper meaning to the things she talks about, and always trying to define the grey areas when things aren't black and white. Even though she has no memories of her previous life, she is very well educated, and it does show.

She has a fixation with the sky, and with being outside. She's claustrophobic, do the degree that she cannot be locked in a room of any size by herself (if somebody else is with her, it isn't so bad). She's paranoid about doors, and makes sure that the door of any room she stays in can't be locked.
